About the product

1992 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Panda with Cubs was designed by Leif Ragn Jensen. The motif of the 1992 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate shows a mother panda with her cubs. The pandas are in their right place with bamboo around them. The panda is a very threatened animal and unfortunately there are born very few pandas, neither in nature nor in captivity. The young panda leaves the mother when it is approximately 1½ year old. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
