How do you enter the basket?
In top of the right menu you find this bottom - from there you can enter the basket.
How to send an inquiry/order to
DPH?
In the top of the first page of the basket, you can see how you
can proceed with your order/inquiry. It is very important that you
follow the instructions in the basket, and after that go to the
bottom and click "SEND INQUIRY" or
"NEXT/BUY/REQUEST" or "CHECK OUT >>" to proceed the
process of making your inquiry/order ready to send to DPH. - Please
continue to click "NEXT" until you see the message that your
order/inquiry has been sent to DPH Trading.
No data are registered at DPH, until you
actively choose to send the "basket" to us. If you have
questions to the procedure, you can find help to almost
all points by clicking the various links along the way.
There is no minimum order at DPH, but we have
to add a handling fee to very small orders. Please see handling fee rates
below.
Buying Procedure
The procedure is simple !
You can buy directly through this site, or you can use our site
as a tempting appetizer, and visit DPH's shop in Odense,
Denmark.
Prices:
For many items you find prices, however please check that, the
delivery country stated in the right hand menu, is
correct. If we cannot show price for a certain item, it says
"Please Ask" - . Please add the item to the "basket" and send it as
an inquiry to DPH. - DPH will answer your inquiry as soon as
possible, maybe by offering you to try to find the requested
item by our Wanted list system.
In some cases the system can automatically calculate an
offer incl. freight cost, possible handling fee if
etc.
This is the case if all items are are available, ready for
delivery now, such items are marked with a green light
. In such cases you
can choose to either complete the transaction immediately,
including your payment or you can send the "basket" as an inquiry.
- As soon as we receive your order and payment the goods will be
reserved for you.
In some cases it is not possible to order and make
payment right away.
This is the case if the items is marked with a red light
this is because:
- no price is mentioned for the requested items
- perhaps it is not in stock
- freight cannot be calculated automatically
the system will then suggest to send the basked as an inquiry.
Before you send your "basket" as an inquiry,
please make sure that the items in the basket are marked correctly
as to number, quality etc.
When you have completed the "basket", you have the following
possibilities:
When nothing else has been agreed, the
DPH-quotation is valid for 14 days.
The products are not reserved for you until after we
have received your accept of the quotation. Our offer is subject to
goods being unsold. This of course involves a risk of the
goods being sold to someone else, during the period between
quotation and order confirmation.

Personal
data
In order to carry out your inquiries, orders etc. DPH asks you
to supply only the absolutely necessary data. We have indicated
with a (*), which information is
necessary. Fields for further data, which could be useful, have
been inserted, but it is entirely up to you, whether or not you
fill in those fields.
The data submitted by you, will be stored in our index, only
accessible to employees at DPH Trading. Data will never be passed
on to a third party. The information is used by DPH only for the
purpose intended, and for internal statistics.
Quantity Discount
DPH offers generally low and competitive prices. Further we
grant discount on many items, so we are normally not able to offer
lower prices than stated on this site. - However no rules without exception, if you consider to buy
large quantities, we might grand you some quantity discount. In
such case, we kindly ask you to send us your specific
inquiry through the basket or by mail to

Freight & handling
fee
All orders will be added freight cost, and handling fee if any,
according to below list. The freight amount etc. will be
automatically calculated, and stated in the total amount in the
basket, or in our mail quotation to you.
DPH Trading has no minimum-orders. - On very
small orders however, we add a handling fee. Please see below

The amount of an order is understood to be the total
amount excluding freight and
insurance.
If the purchased items are picked up at DPH
Trading in Odense, no handling-fee is
charged.
If you think the automatically calculated freight cost
seems too expensive, please add a general
comment regarding the fact that you would like to
have the freight cost recalculated. Please send the basket
as an your inquiry to DPH (you get this option in the top of the
first page in the basket). - As soon as possible we will send you a
revised offer manually calculated.
Prices are not
the same depending on delivery country
Since the VAT-rules vary, our prices differ depending on which
country the product is destined for. This is why it is important
that you state the correct country in the dropdown menu in the
right hand menu "Price is based on delivery
in:"
Among other things prices depend on whether VAT is added in the
destination country.
Unfortunately we cannot show all prices, for instance prices of
collectibles vary according to our present stock of the item. -
Supply and demand etc.
If prices are not shown and you get "please ask" you can add the
item to the "basket" and send the basket as an inquiry.- DPH will
then answer by sending you a quotation.
Payment
All orders are paid in advance if nothing else is agreed. -

Delivery time - when orders must be delivered at a specific
date
When we state a delivery time, it is the date at which the order
is dispatched from our address. The date of
receipt can vary depending on choice of forwarding method
and on which country the order is to be delivered
to.
If the ordered products are to be used for a specific
date, please order some time in advance, and please inform
DPH that the order is conditioned by delivery on a certain date. We
shall then let you know, if it is at all possible for us to deliver
the order within the time limit.
Delivery
Delivery of stock items.
Stock items are items which DPH has confirmed in writing that we
will be able to deliver from stock. Dispatch of items from
stock are usually within 1-3 work days after the receipt
of your confirmation of the order and of your payment. When
ordering large quantities, delivery time may be a little
longer.
Delivery of orders which are not stock
orders.
In these instances we are dependant on deliveries from third
parties. For such orders, the stated delivery time is estimated. In
some instances it will be impossible for DPH to give an exact
delivery time on items, which we order from, and in some instances,
which must be produced by, a given supplier,- or if the order
includes collectibles, which we have to buy from private
collectors. - We do our utmost to deliver this type of order as
close to the agreed date as possible. Please see "Delivery time -
if delivery must take place at a specific date".
DPH Trading may make reservations as to all of or parts
of a given order. Part deliveries may occur. DPH will try
our utmost to inform you of possible part deliveries. In
extraordinary instances we may be able to make an agreement that
buyer is indemnified as to the extra costs of part deliveries.
Prices and trading currency - Price adjustments without
notice
DPH has no minimum order, but we have to add a
handling fee to very small orders. - Please
note handling fees.
Different VAT rules.
EU-countries:
For delivery to buyers in the EU-countries the prices
stated are inclusive of Danish VAT or second hand VAT,
depending on the way in which DPH has purchased the
item. All prices are exclusive of freight and
insurance.
Countries outside the EU:
For delivery to countries outside the EU, the prices stated are
exclusive of VAT, and other duties in the buyer's home country, or
in the country to which the items are to be delivered. Prices are
exclusive of freight, insurance, .
All prices are, as a rule, stated in DKK ( Danish
crowns). Amounts stated in USD or EURO are usually
indicative.
DPH invoices are in DKK (Danish Kroner). Currency
amounts in DKK, USD or EURO stated in quotation and order
confirmations are valid regardless of currency fluctuations
for 14 days.
Price adjustments and cancellation of orders.
DPH reserves the right to adjust prices on all ready confirmed
orders and to cancel them if prices have changed considerably
during the period from receipt of order to time of delivery, or an
impossible delivery situation arises. This may occur for products
with a very long delivery time. In such cases we will of course
give notice, and you will have the right to cancel orders on items
with price increases.
Sale of lamps within EU -
ONLY
Because of differing demands and standards to electrical
articles, our lamps are sold to consumers within the EU
exclusively.
Unfortunately we are not allowed to sell our own lamps and other
electrical articles to your, if you live in a country outside the
EU. Our electrical articles meet all legal standards and norms
inside the EU, and they have all relevant CE- approvals. We cannot
guarantee that they meet standards outside the EU. - As a
result of the this, we sell lamps and other electrical articles
witin the EU exclusively (expect Le Klint)
This does not apply to the LE Klint Lamps, which can be made on
request, so they fulfill the international standards outside EU -

Customs Tariff
number
Whether an article is added duty in your country is a question
you have to take up with your local authorities.
Some countries add duty to porcelain among
others.
DPH export to many parts of the world, it is therefore impossible
for us to keep track of possible national duty tariffs and the
percentage. If you wish to have information concerning these
matters, we ask you to contact your local authorities to have this
information. As a service to you, we have stated the customs tariff
no. of each product. This number is unambigous. The entire number
is used in countries within the EU. The first four digits are
international item numbers, which are used globally. We recommend
that this number is used, or at least the first four digits, if you
consult local authorities on customs matters. We take no
responsibility for wrongly stated customs tariff numbers.

When e-shopping from DPH you have the option of returning your
purchase.
As an e-customer at DPH Trading, you always have the option of
returning your purchase within 14 days counted from the date of
arrival . We do not accept the return of items specifically
ordered for you. In any case, we ask you to
contact DPH before returning an order.
When selling to other businesses, we only
accept the return of an order if this has been agreed prior to the
return.
DPH's basic idea is that a deal is only a good deal, if buyer as
well as seller are satisfied with the deal. We are therefore very
careful as to quality checks and packing of all orders prior to
shipping.
If you, in spite of this, receive an item which does not meet
your expectations, you may return any item bought through e-trade
at DPH's 14 days to return the item, from the day
you receive the items. We naturally return the full amount you have
paid for the item, but not freight, handling fee and insurance. We
can offer you to assist you in returning the items. We can help
with the choice of transporter etc, in order for you to avoid
unnecessary freight and insurance costs.
Our return policy does not include items ordered
specifically for you, i.e items we do not have in stock,
but purchase for you. If you return the order,items must have the
same condition as when delivered to you. Please notice that if you
receive items in original packing and with certificates, the items
must be returned in original packing with
certificates etc.
If items are returned to DPH collect, we do not consider them
returned.
When sold to businesses, items can only be returned if you have
a prior agreement.
If products have been damaged during transport, if they have
defects or flaws, we ask you, for insurance, to not returning the
products, until you have contacted DPH. Please see " damage during
transport".
The above mentioned right to withdraw from a transaction is only
valid when products are sold to private customers.
Picking up and delivering articles directly at DPH's address
in Odense
If you prefer to pick up or deliver products directly at our
address, you are most welcome. Please see contact information in
the top menu Contact.
Further to saving the costs of transport and handling, this will
give you the opportunity to see our very large selection of
products.
Transport - insurance - Transport Damage - Delivery Terms: Ex
works
As our sales- and delivery-terms are ex works, the
responsibility of the product is passed on to you as the recipient,
from the moment the consignment is dispatched by us.
Fortunately, it is very rare, that the cargo is damaged during
transport, but it does happen. To avoid this risk,
we take out a transport-insurance, before the consignment is
dispatched. Insurance-costs are included in the freight-amount.
It is extremely important,
that you follow certain rules,
when you need an
indemnification.
What does the insurance cover?
The insurance covers transport damages on the purchased
articles. The insured
amount is the total invoice-amount
including freight, insurance and possible
handling fee.
If the damage is done - DPH will help you.
It is extremely important, that you contact DPH
Trading immediately upon finding that the
product(s) are damaged during transport.
When you want to demand indemnification, it is
important, that the parcel is kept in the exact same
condition, as when it arrived, this goes for wrapping as well as
the articles. The insurance companies demand the right to inspect
the consignment prior to approving an indemnification. They require
that the insured products are safe kept in the condition received.
You forfeit the rights of receiving an indemnification, if the
consignment is returned without prior agreement with DPH Trading.
When a transport damage has been reported to us, please await our
written instructions on how to dispose of the parcel, before taking
any kind of action.
In return DPH will
Do our utmost to find an article to replace the damaged one, and
forward it to you without any costs from us.
Whenever it is not possible to find the proper replacement, we
will make sure that the compensation is credited your account. If
you wish the compensation cashed, we will immediately transfer the
amount.
The indemnification-amount will include the invoiced amount on
the damaged product(s) including freight, insurance and possible
handling fee/order fee. No other costs whatsoever are covered by
the insurance. Other costs could be: Customs duty, VAT, Tax and
other duties or charges. This kind of possible charges should be
returned to you from the authorities in your country, according to
local laws and rules - that is unfortunately something with which
we cannot help you.
