We can not specify precisely which articles we
would like to buy. Our interest
in buying depend on stock and supply and demand as well as other
things. However from the top menu "DPH
purchases" you find DPHs Wanted list, as well as further
information about which items DPH are looking for.

Generally
We buy old Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates and figures
etc.
When selling from abroad a substantial value is needed to make
the deal worth while to you. Since DPH's buying price is quoted for
goods delivered at our address in Denmark, the transport-,
payment-, insurance- and customs- costs should be paid by you.
Costs should be considered in calculating whether you will get any
earnings from the deal.
Just now we have a very large stock og collectibles. In
particular collectibles produced during the period from the mid
60'ies to the mid 80'ies. We do not buy such items seperately, but
if more interesting articles are offered to us, we also buy
these.
On our DPH wanted list you can see
which articles we are short of at the moment. For such items we do
of course pay extra high prices.
As a rule, we buy old Royal Copenhagen christmas plates and old
figurines. Please send an inquiry to us by finding the article on
our site and put the article in the basket and we will send you a
purchace qoutation.
If you want to sell articles which are on our DPH wanted list and you have also other
articles for sale, we shall probably be able to quote a price for
all your items, if there is a reasonable proportion between the
articles we need and the articles which are of less interest to
us.
No rule without exception, and you are, of course, always
wellcome to send us an inquiry. Or ask in general terms before you
spend too much time counting and typing. We shall then very quickly
be able to see whether a deal will be possible - at a reasonable
price.

The commission-system is another option we can
offer you. The commission-system is an index, where we try to match
sellers and buyers of various articles. Your property would of
course never be included in the commissions-system unless accepted
by you.
When you consider selling, please let us send a
quotation. When you send an inquiry, we shall, as quickly
as possible, send you a specified quotation, stating which articles
we buy, and which we do not. If the current supply and demand
situation causes the price to be very low for some of the articles
in your inquiry and high for other articles, we will, as a rule,
send you an quotation on the articles for which we can give a
decent price, and decline quoting on the remaining
part of your articles. Should you wish to sell the whole lot,
regardless of the very small amount some a articles would bring,
please state that in your generel comments.
A quotationfrom DPH is totally non-committing to
you. Unless otherwise, a quotation from DPH is valid and
thereby committing to us for 14 days, reservations
made though for obvious errors. All quotations are based on
the fact, that the offered articles are
factory firsts in perfect
condition, unless other conditions are
specifically stated or agreed. For competitive reasons we generally
do not quote prices per item, but offer you a total amount for all
items. All inquiries are answered of couse, no matter whether we
want to buy or not. In some instances we will suggest that some of
your items could be part of our commission system.
Only written quotations are binding to DPH. A
quotation is only committing, when forwarded as an e-mail, a fax or
a letter. The easiest way to get a committing quotation, reducing
the possibility of misunderstandings and errors, is byusing the
"basket". Please read the described procedure in the text
below.
Naturally you are always welcome to call us, but when receiving
an offer over the phone, the possibility of calculation errors or
misunderstandings could occur. Fortunately errors are rare, but if
you want to be certain of the quotation, please advise your name,
address, phone-number and/or e-mail. We will then re-calculate the
quotation and send you a written copy - or confirm it by phone.

DPH

You can get our quotation in several ways.
However, we highly recommend, that you use the Basket.
This has several advantages:
It prevents misunderstandings as to exactly which items we are
quoting for. - In other words, you are absolutely sure of which
items our quotaion includes.
In this site, the "basket" is thought as
your tool, and a link between you and
us.No data are registered at DPH unless you actively
choose to send your basket to us.
The "basket" is used in the same way a shopping basket
is used - here you put your products ( the items
you wish to sell) into the "basket", and then send the
contents of the basket as a price inquiry to DPH. This is done in
exactly the same way as if you wish to buy a product, with the only
difference that you fill your "basket" with products you consider
selling. - Sending an inquiry is just a few clicks with your
"mouse". - You can easily add and remove products in the "basket".
You can safely send inquiries to us through the "basket", it does
not commit you.
If you have queries as to the procedure or the
functionality alon the way, you can get help to almost all
parts by using the different links as you proceed. The contents of
the "basket" are automatically saved for 14 days for later
completion and sending. You can then proceed at a more convenient
time.
We do not buy all kind of products, we mainly
buy those listed on the wanted list. However you are wellcome to
add other items to the basked, and ask if we are interested in
buying these too. - However please note if the possibility "Ask DPH
for a price on this item" does not show on the particular item, we
do not buy this at all.

After adding products to the "basket", you can go to "basket" to edit it -
through the link at the top left corner of each page.
In the "basket" you can edit the number of items you wish to
sell, you can edit quality etc, in accordance with the products you
consider selling. When you have comleted editing the "basket" you
can send your inquiry by following the instructions in the
basket.
Prior to sending the "basket" you can add comments to each item
and general comments concerning your entire inquiry.
Last but not least, click "send inquiry" and
your inquiry will be sent to DPH.
After having sent your inquiry, added your
possible questions and comments, we shall send a quotation to you
as soon as possible. All quotations are based on the assumption
that your products are factory firsts and flawless, unless you have
stated otherwise.We make reservations as to obvious maistakes. For
competitive reasons we do not give prices of each product, we offer
a total price for the lot.
DPH purchase from private seller
When
you have received a quotation, you wish to accept.
Written quotations are binding to DPH for 14
days from the date of the quotation,- if no other
agreement has been made. Usually our quotations are based in the
products being delivered to DPH's address in Odense.
All purchases are settled in DKK (Danish Krones), after the
articles have been checked.
Personal delivery:
You are most wellcome to deliver your products to our
address. You will find our contact data stating address,
telephone, opening hours, driving instructions etc. at the menu Contact.
We ask you to bring dentification with
photo:
According to Danish legislation sellers of
"second hand item" as it is called in our legislation, have to show
identification including photo.- Thus it is important that you
remember to bring identification, preferably your drivers
licence.
Please make an appointment before you
arrive: In order for us to give you the
best possible service, and to avoid that you have to wait, we ask
you to make an appointment.
If you want to send products to DPH please
notice:
You, as the seller, bear the full
responsibility that your products arrive safely at DPH
Trading.- Should the product have beee damaged during transport
when received by DPH, we shall, of course, let you know
immediately.
Any possible compensation must be settled with your
transport company. You can only expect a compensation, if
you have seen to it that the products have been properly packed and
if necessary that you have a transport insurance.
Transporters have different rules as to damages during transport
if you do not have a transport insurance.
We are at your service with advice as to packing, shipping and
insurance, and to choice of transporter etc. D
PH has years of experience in shipping to most countries. We
therefore offer our advise, if you please.

Payment:
DPH does not accept products sent to us
collect, we have to examine the products before we
pay for them.
We pay when products have been examined and looked ove
for flaws and defects. If you deliver the products
yourself, we check the products while you wait, and you will have
your payment immediately.
You have no product liability.- The products are sold as
seen.
You as the seller has no further responsibility concerning this
product. When DPH buys products from private persons, we buy the
products as is. This means that when we have paid for the product
and the deal is closed, you as the seller have no further
responsibility for the products delivered,- if you are the
rightfull owner.

Personal
data
In order to carry out your inquiries, orders etc. DPH asks you
to supply only the absolutely necessary data. We have indicated
with a (*),which information is necessary.
Fields for further data, which could be useful, have been inserted,
but it is entirely up to you, whether or not you fill in those
fields.The data submitted by you, will be stored in our index, only
accessible to employees at DPH Trading. Data will never be passed
on to a third party. The information is used by DPH only for the
purpose intended, and for internal statistics.
