The motif of this 1995 Desirée annual bell
from The Porcelain Factory Desiree, also
known as Désirée Denmark, Svend Jensen of
Denmark, Old Copenhagen Blue is found in
the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale
Everything in the Right Place.
The 1995 Hans Christian Andersen Annual bell
had the same motif as the 1995 Svend Jensen
Christmas plate and the 1995 Svend Jensen
Annual cup. At the Annual bell you see the
Manor in the background while the young
goose girl walks in the road in front.
According to the Hans Christian Andersen's
fairytale the small girl hears galloping
horses on the road behind her and she has
to shoo away the geese, for them not to be
run down by the lord of the manor and his
hunting party. The Annual bell was designed
by Lis Torbol.
