was only produced in 1911.
Royal Copenhagen's 1911 Christmas plate
is the first plate with the measurement,
which has from than on become the standard
measure of the Christmas plate.
The motif is a typically Danish winter
landscape covered in snow, with a country
church in the background and a sheaf of
corn to feed the wild birds in the fore-
ground. At winter time, many people in
Denmark feed the wild birds, which have
great difficulty in finding food because
of the cold weather and snow.
The pine cones from the 1909 plate is used
in this plate at the border of the plate.
These pine cones are seen in many of the
succeeding plates.
