Plate number twelve in a series of twelve.
Charlottenborg Palace, former Gyldenloeves'
Palace, is built in 1671 on behalf of Ulrik
Frederik Gyldenloeve (half-brother of the
king Christian V) Lambert van Haven was in
charge of the building activities. The
Palace was renamed after Queen Charlotte
Amalie, who died on the Palace in 1714.
Today the palace is housing the Royal
Art Academy and various big art-
exhibitions.
