The motif of the 1969 Bing & Grondahl Mothers
Day plate shows a cocker spaniel with her
puppies. Cocker Spaniels are known as lovely
family dogs. They have lot of energy and
like to take part in the activities in the
family. The Cocker Spaniels could be used
for hunting or as tracker dog.
The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were
started in 1969 and are still being continued
with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
