Bing & Grondahl Danish Veteran Railway's plate no. 7 Motif: Litra K no. 564 Technique: Underglazed Year of Release: 1979 Diameter: 7" - 18 cm The two railwaysystems owned by the danish state were united in 1892 and the machinery unit was centralized. The first task in the machinery unit was to provide DSB with 100 K-machines for the express-trains, to be put into operation all over the country. K 564 was built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in Germany in 1899, and later (1930) rebuilt in Copenhagen. Odsherred Railway bought the K 564 in 1957, who in 1968 resold to The Danish Railway Club. The plate is produced on behalf of Danish Railway Club. K 563 was in 1968 donated to the Railway museum and later the K 582 followed - DSB's last K-machine. The K- machines were produced in the years 1894 to 1902 by Nielson, Hartmann, Esslingen, Breda, Hanomag and Maffei.
