Karen Kjældgård-Larsen grew up with the
Blue Fluted service and was always
fascinated by it and the small differences
that typify the hand-painted service and
make every single piece unique.
Black Fluted MEGA:
In a bold fusion of Danish handmade
craftsmanship from 1775 with the classical
black colour of the fashion world, Royal
Copenhagen introduces Black Fluted MEGA.
For the first time in its 231 years of
history, Royal Copenhagen launches a
service in black. Fluted MEGA, a youthful
re-take of the classic Blue Fluted
service, has become an international
neo-classic, and now blue and white MEGA
velcomes a cousin from the world of
fasion.
