Blue Palmette
Imagine a combination of the traditional
blue pattern from Royal Copenhagen and a
modern meal inspired by the global cuisine.
This is the starting point for Blue
Palmette - a new handmade and hand decorated
tableware from Royal Copenhagen. The
functional tableware consists of 11 parts
with endless possibilities of exciting
combinations, enabling you to create the
perfect table.The simple and round forms
are inspired by the Asian cuisine, and its
tradition of placing the food at the centre
of the table in bowls with small plates for
each person,rather than serving the whole
meal in large dishes. Blue Palmette is
ideal for sushi,tapas or other small dishes.
Blue Palmette was inspired by the very
first service from Royal Copenhagen - the
classic Blue Fluted porcelain, which was
created i 1775.The decoration takes its
inspiration from details of the famous blue
fluted pattern and focuses on the stylish
palm leaf,which has also given name to the
tableware.
