This tableware is no longer in production. -
However because of the supplementary
quarantee, this piece can be obtained from
the factory if you place an order and payment.
- However VERY long delivery time may occur,
because Royal Copenhagen pick up orders to
produce once every year.
Magnolia was designed by Flemming Eskildsen,
who qualified as a silversmith at Georg
Jensen's.Georg Jensen is the source of
inspiration for form as well as decoration.
The design was inspired by the beautifully
rounded Magnolia-cutlery and the silver
tableware from 1907 of the same name.
Both were named after Georg Jensen's house-
keeper - and later his wife - Maren Pedersen
or "Magne", as he called her. Magnolia Blue
is also produced in a gray variant. They
both have a 24 carat gold edge.
