Royal Copenhagen blue Princess cream jug.
The Beautiful lace edges of Princess is
decorated with musselornaments, which reveals
a close relationship to the Blue Fluted
tableware.Arnold Krog, who designed the
current version of Blue Fluted also designed
the form and the hand-painted pattern of
this simple table ware. Princess was
designed in the 1880's, during his time
as artistic director of Royal Copenhagen
Porcelain Manufactory - But Princess was
not produced until almost 100 years later -
in 1978. Every part of Princess is mounted,
painted and glazed by hand.
