White Half Lace, espresso cup and saucer, produced by Royal Copenhagen
White Half Lace has been hand made by Royal
Copenhagen since 1888.
The half lace form was originally created
for Blue Fluted, Half Lace.To the plain
shape was added an elegant lace border, and
thus, a simple, elegant set of tableware
was created. All pieces are assembled and
glazed by hand.
The artist behind this set of tableware is
Arnold Krog, who was the artistisk leader
of Royal Copenhagen 1885-1916.
