White Plain Signature

Designer:
The ribbed form existed even before 1775,
and inspired the Danish name of the blue
fluted or "Musselmalet" service, since its
surface appears ribbed like the shell of a
mussel. Now a new series is being created
in the classic tradition, called White
Plain Signature. The shiny white background
highlights the familiar blues and greens of
the Royal Copenhagen backstamp, which can
be seen on the bottom of every piece of
porcelain from the factory in Denmark.
