If you wish to sell items mentioned in our "Wanted list" and you want to sell other items too, we can now and then offer to buy all your items, as long as there is a sensible proportion between items we wish to buy and items we already have in abundance. Arnold Krog introduced what is nowknown as Danish underglaze painting. TheChristmas plate from Royal Copenhegen isan outstanding representative of this technique.Royal Copenhagen's first Christmas platewas created in 1908 and every year sincethen another plate has been introduced.The Christmas plate is only produced duringthe year in question, then the molds aredestroyed.As Royal Copenhagen had no idea of the success of the Christmas plate, the first one was produced in a very limited number.The colours of this first plate is Royal Copenhagen's characteristic blue and white,and the motif is Madonna with child, sur-rounded by a halo.
