Désirée Denmark or Svend Jensen of Denmark,
Old Copenhagen Blue.
On this Mother's Day plate we see two
children who have probably been finding
flowers for their mother. It is the perfect
picture of the elder sister who is taking
good care of her younger brother. She is
holding his hand and they have helped each
other by picking flowers. This Desirée Sven
Jensen Mothers Day plate was designed by
Mads Stage. It was manufactured in blue
underglaze.
Désirée Denmark started the series of Mothers
Day plates in 1970 and ended it in 1994.
