showing two children preparing a surprise to
their mother. They are carefully arranging
flowers in a flower pot. Mads Stage has
created this Mothers day plate and it was
manufactured in the well known underglaze
technique.
Désirée Denmark started the series of Mothers
Day plates in 1970 and ended it in 1994.
The motifs of all the Sven Jensen Mother's
Day plates were inspired by events from the
wonderful world of children.
