Royal Copenhagen mini Christmas plates

In a short period from 1988 to 1990 Royal Copenhagen every year published a mini Christmas plate together with the usual Christmas plate. The Mini Christmas plate shows the same motif as the traditional Christmas plate and is just a supplement to the series. The Christmas ornaments from Royal Copenhagen measuring 5.50 cm in diameter are made of white porcelain with the famous blue decoration.

When you hear the word mini plate, many people think of the Royal Copenhagen Christmas plaquettes, which were launched for the first time in 1984 and still continues every year.
