1981 Gustavsberg Special Edition Christmas Plate, Christmas Plate No. 9.

This Gustavsberg Christmas plate in blue and white tones from 1981 depicts a busy street where Christmas trees are being sold. There is, among other things, a man pulling a sled with a Christmas tree, as well as several horse-drawn carriages. This special edition, with a diameter of 20 cm, is not only a collector's item but also an ideal lunch plate that can contribute to the festive atmosphere at Christmas parties, whether as a delicate appetizer plate at the Christmas Eve dinner.

This plate is produced on special order in an edition of 2,500 copies, after which the original plate is destroyed. There is no new production. The motif is based on a drawing by Jenny Nyström from 1886. The drawing has been processed by Anita Svedjerot.

*Please note that the plate has no holes on the back and is delivered without a hanger. To hang the plate, a hanger must be purchased separately.
