Royal Copenhagen confirmation candidate Lucy no. 5605 21 cm figurine

Royal Copenhagen confirmation candidate Lucy no. 5605 is a porcelain figurine with a calm and thoughtful appearance. The figurine depicts a young girl in a long white dress, with her hands clasped in front of her chest and long light hair falling softly over her shoulders. The expression is quiet and solemn, and precisely for that reason the motif suits the special atmosphere of confirmation so well.

The design is executed by Sterett-Gittings Kelsey, who has created a figurine with a simple form and a gently modelled expression. The slender silhouette and the light glaze give the figurine a clean and classic character, which makes it suitable both as a confirmation figurine and as a lasting remembrance of a big day. The white dress and the calm posture emphasize the figurine's ceremonial character without appearing heavy or over-decorated.

As a porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, Lucy also appeals to collectors who are fond of classic human figurines and Danish design with lasting value. The fine underglaze technique contributes to the soft, harmonious overall impression. The figurine stands beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of an arrangement with other porcelain and decorative art in light shades.

A confirmation figurine like this is also an obvious gift idea for a confirmation, where it can become a memory that is preserved for many years. Older quality figurines like this contain both history and craftsmanship, and they give the home personality in a way that mass-produced new items rarely do. This is precisely part of the joy of choosing porcelain with soul and giving beautiful design new life.
