Royal Grafton Porcelain Plates with wild birds
In collaboration with the British artist Derek Braithwaite, Royal Grafton developed a series of collector plates with motifs of European wild birds. The series consists of eight plates in porcelain with overglaze decoration of beautiful birds. Plate with pheasant, plate with partridges, plate with ptarmigan, plate with woodcock, plate with black grouse and plate with quail are all parts of the series of European Wild Birds from the English porcelain factory Royal Grafton.
Derek Braithwaite was born in North Yorkshire in England in 1929. He worked as a technical designer in a large advertising agency, while he simultaneously pursued his great passion for painting landscapes and animals.
