Christian Seltmann Weiden plates with landscapes

The plates in the series Idyllic Village life shows motifs of a bygone era, designed by Christian Lückel. The motifs depict harvesting with horse-drawn carriage, where people sat sheaves in the stack and then load them on the wagon. Also seen is a festive occasion - perhaps harvest festival - where the whole village shows up to celebrate a successfully completed harvest. The "Idyllic Village life" series consists of 10 plates with decoration over the glaze.
