Royal Copenhagen Equestrian figures girl and boy figure no. 760

Royal Copenhagen figure no. 760 is a charming porcelain figure with a girl and boy from the well-known equestrian series, designed by Allan Therkelsen. The motif captures a lively moment between two children, where play, movement and closeness are at the center. The figure has a narrative quality that makes it ideal for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figures and for those who are fond of porcelain figures with human expression and everyday scenes.

The boy stands slightly turned with his gaze directed toward the girl, while she sits reclined with her legs forward. The dark riding boots and the relaxed interaction between the two children emphasize the connection to equestrian life and equestrian sport. The blue shades in the clothing, the light faces and the glazed surface give the figure a calm and classic expression that fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional homes.

Allan Therkelsen is known for figures with natural movement and finely observed human details, and this is clearly felt here. This Royal Copenhagen porcelain figure is executed in underglaze, which contributes to the soft color effect and the durable finish. It is precisely the combination of craftsmanship, motif and form that makes the model interesting as a collector's figure, but also as a personal gift for a horse enthusiast, for the collector of child figures or for the person who appreciates Danish porcelain design.

Older porcelain figures like this have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home. They carry history and fine craftsmanship and are at the same time a beautiful example of how classic design can gain new life in today's interior design. The figure can stand alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf or be combined with other child figures from Royal Copenhagen for a cohesive and atmospheric expression.
