Søholm child figurine Peter Sulky white figurine

Søholm child figurine "Peter Sulky" is a characterful white figurine with an expression that immediately catches the eye. The figurine depicts a child in a closed, slightly defiant posture with bowed head, crossed arms and a clear mood of offence or thoughtfulness. This gives the figurine personality and makes it lively to look at, even though the design language is simple and calm.

The glossy white surface highlights the soft shapes and the finely modelled details in the face, hair and posture. It is precisely the solid white glaze that gives the figurine a clean and classic expression, which fits well into both modern and more traditional interiors. As a child figurine, it has both charm and presence, and it works well as a decorative figurine on a shelf, chest of drawers or in a collection of Danish ceramics and older decorative art.

Søholm is a name that many collectors and interior enthusiasts associate with Danish design and figurines with character. Here it is especially the motif that makes an impression: the child is not idealised, but portrayed with a recognisable feeling and a human mood that gives the figurine soul. This makes it ideal for collectors of child figurines, white figurines and older Danish design, but also as a personal gift for someone who is fond of classic figurines with character.

Older figurines like this bring history and personality into the home and are at the same time a sustainable choice. When beautiful craftsmanship is allowed to live on, one preserves not just an object, but also the story and the special atmosphere that only design with history can add to a room.
