Royal Copenhagen Valentines Day plaquettes

In 2003 Sven Vestergaard created two plaquettes for Royal Copenhagen which were released on the occasion of Valentine's Day on 14th February. The two plaquettes are beautiful together, as they show a boy and a girl. The girl sits quietly in the grass with a sleeping cat by her side while she, with a mysterious smile on her lips, take leaves of a flower to the verse of "love-me-love-me-not". The boy is in the process of cutting a heart in a tree. Both Valentine plaquettes are surrounded by a border of red hearts.
