Stavangerflint has released an elegant and decorative series of memorial plates with motifs from different regions in Denmark. The plates are distinctive in their little triangular design, but still with round shapes. The motifs are drawn in colours on white porcelain and depicts many sights from the represented cities.

Commemorative Plates and anniversary plates from Stavangerflint

The artist has succeeded in capturing the right images from the various provinces and cities. The plate from Odense illustrates - of course, I am tempted to say - Odense Cathedral, Hans Christian Andersen, Odense Town Arms and persons known from the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales. There are of course a plate with all of Denmark with small reproductions of attractions scattered across the country.
