Søholm dish no. 3107 blue EJ64 by Einar Johansen

This Søholm bowl no. 3107 in the characteristic EJ64 series is a fine example of Danish stoneware with strong form, deep glaze and a clear artistic expression. The blue interior with the striking geometric pattern creates an exciting contrast to the dark, calm exterior, and it is precisely this balance between structure and color that gives the bowl its special appeal.

Søholm is known for ceramic works where craftsmanship and form go hand in hand, and this bowl clearly bears the mark of that tradition. Einar Johansen's design language comes into its own in the simple, yet characterful silhouette, where the glazed surface catches the light and highlights the small variations that make each vintage ceramic object alive and unique.

As a decorative bowl or small dish, it is ideal in a home interior where one wants a personal expression with Danish design history. It works beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a striking element on a table, where it can stand alone be part of a collection of Søholm ceramics. It is also ideal as a gift for the collector or for someone who appreciates stoneware with soul and history.

With its number, series designation and the clear signature in the expression, this is a bowl with both aesthetic and collectible value. It speaks to you who seek classic Danish ceramic art, vintage stoneware and a design object that still feels mod in its simplicity. At DPH - Danish Porcelain House you will find just the kind of finds that combine originality, quality and timeless charm.
