Royal Copenhagen Brita figurine no. 001 Carl Larsson girl with candles and apples

Royal Copenhagen Brita figurine no. 001 is an atmospheric porcelain figurine with a motif based on Carl Larsson. The figurine depicts Brita, Carl Larsson's daughter, who standing carries a bundle of candles in her hand and a basket of apples by her side. It is a figurine with both narrative and presence, where childhood, Nordic winter atmosphere and homely tradition meet in a single motif.

The standing girl is made with long light hair, a red hat and red dress, while the small details such as the candles, the hanging apples and the woven basket give the figurine life and character. The expression is calm and thoughtful, and the composition has the special pictorial world for which Carl Larsson is known and loved. The figurine therefore functions both as a porcelain figurine, art figurine and collector's item for those who are fond of Scandinavian design and classic child figurines.

That the figurine is produced by Royal Copenhagen makes it extra interesting for collectors of Danish porcelain. According to the existing product information, it is manufactured in a limited number of 7500 copies, and each figurine is numbered. This gives the model a clear collector's value and makes it ideal for anyone seeking a Royal Copenhagen figurine with a Carl Larsson motif and a more personal story behind it.

As a decorative figurine, Brita fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes. It can stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or together with other porcelain figurines and objets d'art, where it adds warmth, colour and narrative. For many, it will also be an obvious gift idea for collectors, for those who love Swedish and Danish art traditions, or for the one who appreciates figurines with motifs of children and everyday life.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special charm because they are created to be preserved and appreciated for many years. Choosing a figurine with history is also a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life and let classic design have a place in today's interior.
