This kind of comedy was given the name "Commedia dell´Arte" It is this "Comedy of Art" that gave Royal Copenhagen inspiration to the Commedia dell ´Arte range, which is made up of four figurines : Arlecchino, Colombona, Pierrot and Pulcinella. Pulciness comes from Napoli and, like Arlecchino, works as a servant. He is congenial, good-natured and conciliatory. He philosophises about things and outwardly tolerates scorn and wretchedness. Being a good Neapolitan, he is also a great singer.
