Royal Copenhagen Susanne white figurine no. 133 - Gerhard Henning

Royal Copenhagen Susanne figurine no. 133 is a white porcelain figurine with a calm and classic expression, where form and body lines are allowed to stand out completely pure. The figurine shows a kneeling woman in a contemplative posture with her arm raised toward her face, while the body rests on a soft, draped base. The white look gives the figurine an almost sculptural character, where the light works beautifully across the soft surfaces and the fine details in hair, hands and movement.

The motif was created by Gerhard Henning, who is known for his figurine models with a strong sense of anatomy, balance and quiet presence. Here, the expression is both classic and modern at the same time. The simple white execution emphasizes the model's form and makes Susanne a Royal Copenhagen figurine that fits naturally into both the traditional collection and the more contemporary home interior.

According to the existing product information, this Royal Copenhagen figurine was executed in biscuit, and it belongs to the well-known models that Royal Copenhagen launched in completely white in 2008. This very reinterpretation gives the figurine a clean, Nordic expression, which makes it ideal on a chest of drawers, in a bookcase, on a console table or as part of an arrangement with other white figurines and sculptural objects.

Susanne is an obvious choice for collectors of Royal Copenhagen White figurines and for those who appreciate Danish design with artistic weight. The figurine works both as a decorative art object and as a gift idea for someone who appreciates porcelain art, classic figurines and well-executed design. The white surface provides a calm eye-catcher that can easily be combined with both modern interiors and older quality objects with history.
