Bing & Grøndahl seagull figurine 1809 or 1020429 Dahl-Jensen 11 cm

This Bing & Grøndahl seagull figurine no. 1809 or 1020429 captures a vivid moment from the bird life of the coast. The seagull is modeled with an open beak and raised neck, giving the figurine an expressive and almost audible presence, as if it is calling out over the sea. The soft, organic form gives the bird movement, while the calm glaze emphasizes the classic Danish porcelain expression.

The figurine is designed by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, who is known for his lifelike animal figurines with character and a fine eye for movement. Here the expression is simple and precise: the light body, the muted gray-brown shades at the head and wings, as well as the stretched tail create a harmonious whole. The underglaze decoration gives the surface depth and a beautiful, lasting expression that suits both modern and more classic interiors well.

A porcelain figurine like this is ideal for you who appreciate Bing & Grøndahl bird figurines, Danish design and collectibles with history. The small seagull is easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of an arrangement with other bird figurines and maritime-inspired decorative arts. It also works really well as a gift idea for the collector or for someone who appreciates porcelain with personality.

Older porcelain figurines like this contain a special charm. They bring both craftsmanship, history and character into the home and are at the same time a beautiful choice for you who would like to give quality design new life. A figurine like this adds soul and narrative to the interior and is a reminder of how timeless well-designed porcelain can be.
