Bing & Grøndahl pair of bucks figure 4203 blue Agnethe Jørgensen

A striking pair of bucks from Bing & Grøndahl, designed by Agnethe Jørgensen, where the two animals are gathered in one sculptural porcelain figure. The expression is austere and stylised with calm lines, curved horns and a compact form, which gives the figure a modern and decorative character. The blue decoration along the sides highlights the silhouette and creates a beautiful contrast to the white porcelain.

The motif has both calm and character. The two bucks stand close together and form an almost architectural composition, where the shapes interact beautifully from all angles. This makes figure no. 4203 an obvious choice for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figures and for those who appreciate Danish design with a more graphic and interpreted formal language.

Porcelain figures like this add personality to the interior and work well both alone and together with other animal figures, sculptural vases or classic Danish porcelain. It fits nicely in a bookcase, on a chest of drawers or in a display cabinet, where it can be seen from several sides. As an older design object, it also contains the special value that lies in choosing quality objects with history and giving them a natural place in a contemporary home.

This Bing & Grøndahl figure is also a gift idea for collectors and for everyone who appreciates porcelain art, animal figures and Danish design. The blue version has a calm, deep colour expression, which makes the figure easy to combine with both light and dark surroundings.
