Bing & Grøndahl goat kid Mother's Day figurine 1991 no. 1916691

Bing & Grøndahl Mother's Day figurine 1991 with the goat kid motif is a charming animal figurine that combines the simple nature motif with the calm, classic B&G style. The figurine shows a small goat kid standing attentively on a low plinth, modeled with soft shapes and a fine, lively expression. The light glaze and the calm posture give the figurine a clean and harmonious expression that fits beautifully into both a classic and a more contemporary interior.

This figurine is part of the series of B&G Mother's Day figurines, which over the years have been collected by many with an interest in Bing & Grøndahl porcelain, animal figurines and annual releases. For 1991, the motif is a goat kid, and it is precisely the same animal that appears on Bing & Grøndahl's Mother's Day plate from 1991. Therefore, the figurine is particularly interesting, not only for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl Mother's Day figurines, but also for those who collect B&G Mother's Day plates and would like to connect figurine and plate from the same year.

The goat kid is depicted with a natural and down-to-earth expression, which makes the figurine decorative in itself, but also ideal as part of a larger collection. It can stand alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf or in a quiet corner, where its calm design language comes into its own. At the same time, it is an obvious choice if you are missing precisely the 1991 edition to expand or complete your collection of B&G Mother's Day figurines.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add history and personality to the home. When you choose vintage Bing & Grøndahl, you also choose a piece of Danish porcelain tradition that is made to last and to be appreciated through generations. This makes the figurine a meaningful gift idea for collectors, animal lovers or for someone who is fond of porcelain with history and soul.
