Bjørn Wiinblad Celestine figure 55 cm blue/white hand-decorated

Celestine is a striking Bjørn Wiinblad figure with the imaginative and narrative expression that makes Wiinblad's universe so easy to recognize. The figure stands tall and slender with a calm face, long braids, and a large decorative hat that gives it an almost fairy-tale-like character. The blue/white decoration creates a classic and poetic expression, where flowers, fields, and ornaments unfold across the figure in a way that feels both lively and harmonious.

In the image, Celestine appears with a richly hand-decorated surface, where flowers and patterns interact beautifully from hat to dress. It is precisely this type of detail that makes a Bjørn Wiinblad figure more than decoration. It adds personality, artistic edge, and a special atmosphere to the interior. The figure works beautifully as a standalone piece on a dresser, in a bookcase, or on a side table, where it can be allowed to stand out as a decorative eye-catcher.

Bjørn Wiinblad is known for his human figures with character, imagination, and strong decorative impact, and Celestine is a fine example of this distinctive style. The blue/white color scheme makes the figure easy to combine with both classic porcelain, Nordic interiors, and more colorful collections. At the same time, the hand-decorated execution gives the figure a lively expression that emphasizes the connection to craftsmanship and design tradition.

If you are fond of Bjørn Wiinblad's figures, Celestine is an obvious choice as a collector's figure or gift idea for someone who appreciates Danish design and decorative human figures with character. The great height of 55 cm gives the figure a beautiful presence in the room, and it pairs well with other Wiinblad figures if you want to create a personal arrangement with artistic character.
