Dahl Jensen boy with pipe figure no. 1027

Dahl Jensen figure no. 1027 depicts a little boy with a pipe in a motif that is both charming, period-typical and full of storytelling. The figure is modelled in a lively pose, where the boy stands slightly bent forward with the pipe raised up towards his mouth. This gives the figure a fine snapshot and a natural movement, which makes it exciting to look at from several angles.

The blue overalls, the light sweater and the dark shoes create a classic colour combination that suits the motif well. The face is executed with a calm and concentrated expression, and precisely the interplay between the child's posture, the placement of the hands and the characteristic pipe gives the porcelain figure personality. It is a child figure with humour and historical atmosphere, which at the same time carries the mark of craftsmanship that many collectors associate with older Danish figure art.

The artist behind it is Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, and the figure is produced by Dahl Jensen. For collectors of Dahl Jensen figures, item number 1027 is an important identification, and for those interested in design, it is a figure that fits beautifully among other porcelain figures, child figures and classic collector's items. It works beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a personal arrangement with Danish porcelain and figures with history.

Older figures like this have a special ability to give the home character. They are created to last, and when they are allowed to live on in new surroundings, they are also a beautiful choice for you who appreciate reuse, quality and original craftsmanship. The figure is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Dahl Jensen porcelain or for anyone who is fond of classic child figures with soul.
