Goebel month figurine May "Mai" boy with butterfly

Goebel month figurine for May is a charming porcelain figurine that captures the lightness and movement of spring in a simple, narrative motif. The figurine depicts a little boy in motion as he reaches his hand forward toward a yellow and dark butterfly. The lively pose gives the figurine a light and playful expression, which suits themes such as spring, childhood and nature beautifully.

On the figurine, both the handwritten month text "Mai" and the printed text "Goebel Maj May Mai" can be seen on the base. This visible text in particular makes the figurine easily recognizable as a month figurine and gives it extra interest for collectors of Goebel figurines and month sets. It combines a poetic motif with a decorative form, where the curved base elegantly follows the movement of the figurine.

The colors appear light and soft with fine details in the hair, the red lips, the green leaf decoration and the small butterfly in the hand. The gold details on the base add a classic touch that suits the figurine and emphasizes its character as a collector's figurine and decorative object. It is ideal for a display cabinet, shelf or as part of a larger collection of month figurines, seasonal figurines or other porcelain figurines from Goebel.

A figurine like this appeals both to collectors and to those of you who are fond of nostalgic decorative art with personality. It can also be a nice gift idea for a person with a birthday in May or for a collector who is looking specifically for the May figurine for the series. Older porcelain figurines like this bring history and soul into the home and are at the same time a beautiful choice for those of you who appreciate quality items that can gain new life with a new owner.
