Bjørn Wiinblad candle angel hand-decorated blue/white

This hand-decorated candle angel from Bjørn Wiinblad's Workshop combines figure, decorative art, and candlestick in one distinctive design. The small angel figure is executed in blue and white shades with the imaginative, poetic expression that Bjørn Wiinblad is known and loved for. At the top, the figure bears a clear glass tube around the light, which provides a calm and atmospheric glow while at the same time emphasizing the figure's upright, almost ceremonial appearance.

The motif has the fairytale-like and decorative tone that makes Wiinblad's figures so recognizable. The face is gentle and stylized, the hair is detailed with fine blue decorations, and the body is adorned with sweeping ornaments that give the figure life and rhythm. The wing on the side completes the expression and makes this candle angel an obvious choice for collectors of Bjørn Wiinblad, but also for those who want a figure with personality and warmth in the décor.

As a hand-decorated figure, each candle angel has its own expression, and that is precisely what contributes to the charm. It works beautifully as part of the Christmas decorations, but can also remain on display for the rest of the year as a decorative feature on a shelf, in the windowsill, or on a smaller table, where the light is allowed to create atmosphere. The blue-white color scheme makes it easy to combine with both classic porcelain, Nordic décor, and other figures with history and character.

The fact that the model is no longer produced makes it especially interesting for collectors and for those who appreciate older design objects with lasting appeal. It is the type of decorative art that brings joy year after year, and that adds both artistic character to the home and the feeling of choosing something that has already proven its durability and charm.
