Bjørn Wiinblad figure Aunt Ella blue/white hand-decorated

Aunt Ella is a characterful Bjørn Wiinblad figure in blue and white, where the whimsical and the human meet in an expression that is entirely its own. The figure has Wiinblad's easily recognizable design language with the stylized face, the decorative details and the almost narrative appearance that makes you want to look a little longer. The blue/white decoration gives the figure a calm and classic expression, while at the same time preserving the lively imagination that characterizes Bjørn Wiinblad's universe.

On the figure, a standing female form is seen with a long decorated cloth and small floral details both by the hands and around the feet. The fine blue ornaments emphasize the hand-decorated character and give the figure a personal touch. It is precisely the combination of the simple play of colors and the many small details that makes Aunt Ella suitable as a decorative figure in the living room, on a shelf, in the display cabinet or as part of a collection of Bjørn Wiinblad figures.

Through his figures, Bjørn Wiinblad has created a special visual language in which people, fantasy and ornamentation merge. Therefore, a figure like Aunt Ella appeals both to collectors and to those who want home decor with artistic personality. The blue/white color scheme makes it easy to combine with both classic porcelain, Nordic decor and more colorful design objects.

Older design figures like this also have the special quality that they bring history and soul into the home. When you choose a figure with age and character, you simultaneously choose a more sustainable alternative to new production. It is a beautiful way to give good design new life and let Danish craftsmanship continue to create joy in today's homes.
