Bjørn Wiinblad Aunt Ella figure hand-decorated blue/white

Bjørn Wiinblad Aunt Ella is a characterful figure in blue and white, where the fairy-tale-like and the decorative meet in an expression that one immediately associates with Wiinblad's distinctive pictorial world. The figure depicts a woman with tall, decorated headwear and a long, patterned dress, and it contains the poetic narrative desire that has made Bjørn Wiinblad's figures so sought-after among collectors and design lovers.

The blue/white play of colours gives Aunt Ella a calm and classic expression, while the many details in the decoration add life and personality. On the figure, fine ornaments and small well-executed elements can be seen, which emphasise the hand-decorated character. It is precisely this combination of fantasy, form, and decoration that makes Wiinblad figures something very special in interior design. They function both as an artistic eye-catcher and as a mood-creating part of the home.

Bjørn Wiinblad is known for his stylised figures and his rich, decorative design language, and Aunt Ella is a good example of the warm and narrative style that many are fond of. The figure fits beautifully on a shelf, on a chest of drawers, or in a display cabinet, where it can stand alone or together with other Wiinblad figures and create a personal, artistic environment. It is also an obvious gift for someone who collects Bjørn Wiinblad, or who wants Danish design with history, charm, and character.

Older and classic design figures like this have a very special ability to add soul to the home. When you choose a figure with history and artistic identity, you are at the same time choosing a piece of design that is created to be appreciated for many years. That makes Aunt Ella a beautiful choice for you who are fond of decorative art and collector's items with personality.
