Bjørn Wiinblad figur Aunt Ella blue/white hand-decorated

Bjørn Wiinblad figure Aunt Ella in blue and white is a characterful human figure with the fairy-tale and poetic expression that makes Wiinblad's design recognizable at first glance. The figure stands with an upright, calm posture and has a decorative formal language, where the tall headdress, the stylized dress shape, and the meticulously drawn ornaments create an imaginative overall impression. The blue/white decoration gives the figure a light and classic expression that fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional homes.

On the figure, the fine, hand-decorated details can be clearly seen distributed across the dress and the small protruding elements along the sides, which give the model depth and life. The face is simple and stylized, while the flowering and graphic patterns emphasize Bjørn Wiinblad's special ability to unite decorative art, storytelling, and personality in one and the same figure. Aunt Ella appears as a decorative figure with plenty of presence and artistic identity.

This Bjørn Wiinblad figure is an obvious choice for collectors of Danish design, for those who are fond of blue/white ceramics and porcelain, or for those who want a figure with a distinct artistic signature. It can be placed alone as an eye-catcher on a shelf, on a chest of drawers, or in a display cabinet, but it also works beautifully together with other Wiinblad figures, vases, or plates, where the playful and decorative universe can be allowed to unfold.

Older design figures like this carry a special charm because they are created with an eye for both form, craftsmanship, and lasting joy. Choosing a figure with history is also a way to give good design new life and let craftsmanship continue to create atmosphere in the home for many years to come.
