Bjørn Wiinblad figure Aunt Ella hand-decorated blue/white

Bjørn Wiinblad's figure Aunt Ella is a characterful female figure that gathers much of what makes Wiinblad's design language so recognizable. The slender silhouette, the distinctive profile and the tall, decorative hat give the figure a fairy-tale-like and almost theatrical expression. In blue and white, Aunt Ella appears calm, poetic and full of personality all at once.

The hand-decorated surface adds life and variation to the figure, allowing the blue details to play beautifully against the light base. On the figure, you see the delicate ornaments and flourishing decorations that connect the motif closely to Bjørn Wiinblad's well-known universe. It is a figure that functions both as an art object and as decorative applied art with a clear identity.

Aunt Ella fits beautifully into an interior where one wants something personal and artistic on a shelf, in a bookcase or on a display cabinet. The blue/white color scheme makes it easy to combine with both classic porcelain, Nordic interior design and other Wiinblad figures. At the same time, it is an obvious choice for collectors who are fond of Bjørn Wiinblad's figures and are looking for a model with a special expression.

Through his works, Bjørn Wiinblad has created a visual language that still brings joy to collectors and design enthusiasts. Precisely for that reason, Aunt Ella is also an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates Danish design, figures with a story and hand-decorated art objects with soul. The figure adds warmth, fantasy and a touch of Danish design history to the home.
