Bjørn Wiinblad Virgo figure with birds M.35/M.36 blue/white or multicolor

This Bjørn Wiinblad figure combines the fairy-tale-like and the decorative in an expression that is easy to recognize. The motif shows a standing girl with birds in her hands, executed in the imaginative formal language that has made Wiinblad's figures sought after among collectors and design enthusiasts. On the examples shown, the original designation "Jomfru" as well as the model numbers "M.35." and "M.36." can be seen.

The figure is available in both blue/white and multicolor, and both versions highlight the characteristic Bjørn Wiinblad style in their own way. The blue/white edition has a calm and decorative expression with winding ornamentation, while the multicolor version adds warmth and life with flowers, green details and soft colors. Common to both are the upright form, the stylized face, the raised hands with birds and the distinctive hat, which gives the figure personality and presence.

As a hand-decorated figure, it bears the mark of the artistic work that characterizes many works from Bjørn Wiinblad's Workshop. It is a figure that fits beautifully into an interior with Danish design, art ceramics and personal collector's items. It can stand alone as an eye-catcher on the shelf, on a sideboard or in a display cabinet, but also works beautifully together with other Wiinblad figures, vases or plaques.

For collectors, this is a figure that brings together several of the elements many seek: Bjørn Wiinblad's name, hand-decorated execution, a clear figural motif and the documented model designation. At the same time, it is a piece of design with history and character, which still adds joy, color and personality to the home.
