Bjørn Wiinblad candlestick Kuglehoved hand-decorated blue/white

Bjørn Wiinblad candlestick Kuglehoved is a characterful figurine candlestick with the imaginative and poetic expression that has made Bjørn Wiinblad's works beloved by collectors and design enthusiasts. The round head shape, the stylized face, and the decorative embellishment give the candlestick a lively expression, where it functions both as decorative art and as a small sculptural figure in the interior.

On this hand-decorated candlestick, the well-known Wiinblad universe appears in blue and white shades. The face is simple and calm, while the hair and the ornamented details add rhythm, fantasy, and an almost fairy-tale touch to the figure. It is precisely that combination that makes a Wiinblad candlestick something special: It can stand alone as decoration, but also becomes extra atmospheric when used with candles.

Through his long career, Bjørn Wiinblad created a very special design language filled with joy, storytelling, and decorative richness. This Kuglehoved candlestick is a fine example of the playful approach, where the human figure is interpreted with warmth, humor, and a great sense of ornamentation. It fits beautifully into both classic homes, creative interiors, and modern spaces, where one wants a personal touch with Danish design history and artistic distinctiveness.

A hand-decorated candlestick like this is also ideal as a gift for someone who appreciates Bjørn Wiinblad, Danish design, and figures with soul. It can be combined with other Wiinblad figures, vases, or candlesticks to create a decorative whole, or it can be allowed to stand alone as a striking small art object. For many, it is precisely older and characterful decorative art that is a meaningful way to furnish a home, because it brings history, personality, and lasting joy into the home.
