Bjørn Wiinblad candlestick Sphere Head hand-decorated

Bjørn Wiinblad's candlestick Sphere Head is a characterful design object, where candlestick and figure merge into one expression. The round shape, the stylized face and the decorative candle arms immediately evoke associations with Wiinblad's imaginative universe, where human figures, ornamentation and colors always play a leading role. Here, it is precisely the sculptural and narrative expression that makes the candlestick more than merely a functional object.

On the candlestick shown, the well-known Wiinblad hallmark is seen with a calm, decorative face, fine patterns and a hand-decorated surface that gives each individual figure its own life. The combination of face, round sphere shape and the three candlesticks creates an almost ceremonial expression, which makes it ideal as an eye-catcher on the dining table, in the windowsill or as part of a personal arrangement with ceramics, figures and other design classics.

The design is created by Bjørn Wiinblad, whose works continue to be sought after among collectors and design lovers. A hand-decorated Wiinblad candlestick like this appeals both to those who are fond of Danish design history, and to those who want a more playful and artistic element in the interior. The Sphere Head motif has a special charm, because it unites the human, the poetic and the practical in one and the same form.

The candlestick fits beautifully into homes where one likes to mix decorative art, vintage design and personal finds with history and soul. It can stand alone as a decorative art object or be combined with other Bjørn Wiinblad figures, vases or candlesticks for a more cohesive expression. At the same time, it is an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates Danish design, hand-decorated decorative art and figures with personality.
