Royal Copenhagen rabbit figurine 4676 sitting large rabbit Jeanne Grut

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4676 is a characterful rabbit figurine with a calm and present expression. The sitting rabbit is shaped with a round, compact body and long upright ears, which give the figure both weight and life. The light glaze plays beautifully together with the darker areas on the ears, snout, eyes and paws, giving the motif depth and a lifelike character.

Jeanne Grut has created a porcelain figurine in which the simple design language and the soft transitions in the surface bring out the rabbit's calm nature in a convincing way. Seen from several angles, the figure appears cohesive and harmonious, and that is precisely what makes it suitable as an eye-catcher on a shelf, in a display bowl or as part of a collection of Royal Copenhagen animal figurines.

This large sitting rabbit is an obvious choice for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and for those who are fond of classic Danish porcelain with motifs from the animal world. It fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional interiors, where it adds warmth, personality and a quiet nature motif. As an older design figurine, it also contains the special joy that lies in choosing good craftsmanship with history and letting it have a place in the home again.

A rabbit figurine like this is also a fine gift idea for someone who collects porcelain animals, or who appreciates Danish design and well-executed modelling. The decorative size and the calm expression make it easy to combine with other animal figurines, ceramics or classic porcelain objects.
