Royal Copenhagen Girl with dog figurine no. 363 - Children with pets

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 363 depicts a calm and intimate moment between child and pet. The figurine shows a seated girl in blue and white shades, holding a carrot, while a small black-and white-spotted dog rises up towards her. The gaze between the two brings the figurine to life and makes the motif warm, recognisable and full of personality.

It is exactly the type of children's figurine that many appreciate from Royal Copenhagen: a narrative motif with an everyday atmosphere, fine movements and a soft, naturalistic modelling. The combination of the girl's relaxed posture, the attentive dog and the simple scene makes the figurine ideal both for collectors of porcelain figurines and for those who want a decorative figurine with a loving motif from the Children with pets series.

The colours are kept in classic, calm tones with a blue dress, light skin tones and the dog's black-and-white coat, which makes the figurine easy to place in the interior. It fits beautifully in a bookcase, a display cabinet or on a shelf together with other Royal Copenhagen figurines, especially if you collect children's figurines or motifs with animals. The motif also naturally speaks to homes where people are fond of dogs, animals and figurines with a story.

As a porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, model no. 363 has both decorative value and interest for collectors. It works well as a gift idea for a dog lover, for a collector of Danish porcelain figurines or as a personal gift for a home where classic figurative art is appreciated. It is a figurine that you keep looking at, because the interplay between child and animal is captured so beautifully.
