Bing & Grøndahl rabbit figurine 1597 - Rabbit washing itself

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 1597 depicts a rabbit sitting and washing itself in a calm, natural moment. The motif is simple and lively at the same time, and it is precisely this quiet movement that gives the figurine character. The glossy white porcelain surface emphasizes the soft shapes, while the placement of the ears and the small paw by the snout create a fine impression of presence and everyday life in nature.

The figurine is designed by Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen, who is known for his animal figurines with a sense of anatomy, movement, and personality. Here the expression is rounded and harmonious, with a compact body, discreet tail, and a posture that makes the figurine interesting from several angles. It is a porcelain figurine that suits you well if you are looking for Bing & Grøndahl animals, rabbit figurines in porcelain, or classic Danish design with a calm and timeless expression.

The rabbit figurine works beautifully alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of animal figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. The white glaze makes it easy to place in both bright and more modern interiors, where it adds a soft and poetic element. For collectors, the figurine number 1597 is an important detail, and for gift buyers, it is a personal gift idea for someone who loves rabbits, porcelain, or Danish figurative art.

It is also a type of figurine that shows the value of good craftsmanship and design that can be preserved and used for many years. Erotic details are not necessary here; the expression is carried by form, balance, and the quiet story in the motif. The result is a Bing & Grøndahl figurine with both collector appeal and decorative value.
