Bing & Grøndahl rabbit figurine 2421 lying brown

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2421 depicts a lying brown rabbit in porcelain with underglaze. The figurine has a calm, closely gathered form, where the low posture, the long ears and the attentive gaze give the motif life and presence. The soft transitions between brown glaze and white areas at the snout, chest and paws emphasize the naturalistic expression and make the figurine easy to place in both classic and modern surroundings.

It is a porcelain figurine with the special warmth and charm that many collectors associate with Bing & Grøndahl's animal figurines. The glossy surface highlights the rounded shapes, and from all angles the rabbit is experienced as harmonious and cohesive. The fine modeling around the eyes, ears and back gives the figurine character without seeming heavy, and that is precisely what makes it suitable as a decorative detail on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of Danish animal figurines.

A figurine like this adds personality and a touch of Danish porcelain history to the home. Vintage porcelain is made to last, and it is a pleasure to give such quality objects new life in the interior. The lying rabbit fits beautifully together with other porcelain figurines, nature motifs or spring decorations, but also stands strongly on its own as a small collector's item with a calm expression.

For those of you seeking Bing & Grøndahl rabbit, porcelain rabbit or animal figurine in porcelain, figurine no. 2421 is an obvious choice. It has both collector's value, decorative quality and the timeless atmosphere that makes older porcelain figurines relevant generation after generation.
