Bjørn Wiinblad Head no. 23 hand-decorated multicolour

Bjørn Wiinblad Head no. 23 is a hand-decorated figure with the imaginative and artistic expression that makes Wiinblad's works so easily recognizable. The figure is shaped as a stylized woman's head with a tall, open crown form, pronounced nose, small ears, and a calm face with fine, drawn features. This gives the figure both a poetic and decorative presence that immediately attracts attention in the interior.

The version shown is made in multicolour with a light base and hand-painted decorations in shades of yellow, green, and blue. Around the head is a rhythmic pattern of oval fields and green vertical forms, while the face is framed by blue hair details. On the foot there is also a decorative wheel motif, which emphasizes the playful and narrative style that characterizes Bjørn Wiinblad's design language.

At Bjørn Wiinblads Værksted, craftsmanship and decorative arts meet in forms that appear both personal and timeless. Head no. 23 is well suited to you if you collect Bjørn Wiinblad figures, or if you want a distinctive ceramic figure with a clear artistic identity. It works beautifully as an eye-catcher on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a larger arrangement with other Danish ceramics and design.

It is also a figure that is well suited as a gift for a collector or for someone who loves colorful, distinctive home decor with history and character. The hand decoration gives each example its own lively expression, and that is precisely what makes this type of Wiinblad figure so interesting to live with over time.
