Bjørn Wiinblad bird pot no. 64 hand-decorated multi colour

Bjørn Wiinblad's bird pot no. 64 unites decorative art and fantasy in an expression that is easy to recognize. The small hand-decorated pot has the soft, round shape that suits Wiinblad's organic and fairytale-like universe so well, and it is decorated with a lively motif of birds, leaves and sweeping ornaments in several colours.

On this bird pot are seen the characteristic, stylized decorations that have made Bjørn Wiinblad a beloved classic in Danish design. The motif gives the pot a poetic and almost narrative expression, where nature, fantasy and craftsmanship meet. The light base combined with the delicate green, grey and pink shades gives a decorative overall impression that fits beautifully into both classic and more personal homes.

As a hand-decorated figure from Bjørn Wiinblad's Workshop, the bird pot has the charm that many collectors and design enthusiasts seek. It works well as a small flowerpot cover, as a decorative container or simply as a piece of Danish design on the shelf, in the windowsill or on the bookcase. It is also ideal as a gift for someone who is fond of Bjørn Wiinblad, Danish ceramics and decorative art with character.

Older designs and hand-decorated objects like this have a special ability to add soul to the home. It is precisely the type of quality decorative art that deserves to be preserved and used on, because it contains both history, personality and timeless design language.
